It's October which means post-season baseball and our Ray's have the home field advantage throughout the AL playoffs! Here's a recipe that is sure to hit a home run! This recipe for Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs gives you exactly the kind of food the occasion calls for: smoky, savory, gloriously messy, and made to eat with one hand while the other celebrates every home run. Crisp bacon wrapped around juicy hot dogs brings a richer bite to a stadium classic, creating a crowd favorite worthy of the opening pitch.

Ingredients:
• 8 thin cut bacon slices (avoid thick cut so it crisps fast)
• 8 all beef hot dogs
• 8 hot dog buns
• Barbecue sauce - sweet and savory or smoky bbq
• Shredded cheddar cheese
• Favorite condiments (relish, onions, tomatoes, bacon bits)

Directions:
1. Preheat the grill: Heat your grill to medium heat (350F to 400F)
2. Slice the hot dogs: Cut a deep slit lenghtwise down the center of each hot dog, being careful not to cut all the way through
3. Stuff with cheese: Tuck one pinch of shredded cheese tightly into the slit of each hot dog
4. Wrap the hot dogs: Start at one end and wrap a slice of bacon loosely around the hot dog in a spiral. Too tight and the bacon could tear. Ensure the bacon completely covers the slit to trap the cheese inside as it melts. Secure both ends with toothpicks
5. Grill: Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning carefully every 2 minutes so the bacon crisps without letting too much cheese leak on to the grates
6. Serve: Toast the buns, remove the toothpicks, and serve hot while the cheese is gooey
