Armyworms will not kill your lawn. Yes, they will eat the blades and your grass may prematurely turn brown before it goes dormant for the winter. However, when spring comes, your lawn should return to normal. Lately, these gross things are everywhere (our yard included). Home Star Lawn & Pest is trying very hard to service our customers who have called complaining of army worms. Unfortunately, the HUGE number of calls on top of the 3 DAYS of rain has made it difficult to get to each house immediately. In the meantime, rest easy knowing that, although aesthetically unpleasing, the damage is only temporarily. Thanks for your patience. We appreciate your business. 🐛🐛🐛🐛

Sorry for the multiple posts today. But we had to share that even our yard is not immune to army worms. We discovered them today. These pics are from our house. Left pic is the healthy side of our yard. Right pic is the army worm damage. Top is what the army worm looks like, though they can get much bigger. You'll usually find them under trees. Fortunately, we caught them in time to minimize any further damage.
