Today in the shop we hand sanded a scrap board and sat on the workbench shirtless and watched ice age. I however was busy as can be with orders and cutting boards. Solid day if you asked me.

We’ve been busy this past week making some wood projects. Shelves, cutting boards and cheese slicers. Solid week so far, plenty of hats as well.

Finished our duck call holder. This one holds 18 calls and four lanyards. I ordered two yards of Mossy Oak shadow grass for the background, not that I need that much but I have more for another one. The outside is made with black walnut from a local property. Overall I’m very excited about this little project and stoked to have a place to hold all our calls.

🧀🧀🧀 Cheese slicer incoming 🧀🧀🧀

To all of our Ohio fans, you have 8 cheese slicers incoming straight outta the shop made by my mother-in-law karen. She is our number one sales lady for cheese slicers. She made a fresh batch of 8 and in route to Ohio as I type this. Get ahold of us or her and get one while they last.

It’s been awhile since we posted something new. We’ve been busy in the shop with hats, cutting boards, cheese slicers and things like that but we added a big one.
We added a train set to the shop. We took a new set and my set from childhood (30 years ago) and combined them. I hung a trolly system and winch to raise and lower and move it around. The boys so far have loved it.

We had a solid time at the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in Chesapeake, Va today. We had an awesome raffle to help out hooked on hope. Solid time around solid people. Theo took our business card to every tent in exchange for free trinkets.

Shop help today isn’t much help. We have 100 hats for Hooked on Hope VB to knock out. Great organization to work with and an awesome mission they have. If you haven’t checked them out and live in the local area please do.

RAFFLE TIME. We have here a 36in walnut serving tray with an inlayed cancer ribbion(that was supposed to be pink) finished with Bearded Blacksmith of the Blue Ridge custom handles. We are selling the tickets for the raffle for 5 dollar each or 5 for 20 dollars. The money will go directly to Hooked on Hope VB, A local charity here that supports children with cancer. We will continue the raffle till the American Cancer Society Relay For Life on June 6th.
