Here are the final pictures of the kitchen remodel!

They installed the cabinets, trim, and appliances! The custom cabinets now match the rest of the quarter sawn oak in the house and it all ties together beautifully!

We are nearing the end of this kitchen makeover! They laid this beautiful luxury vinyl planking which is a great alternative for tile! They also added a custom double hinged door!(It’s great for keeping pets out!)

This will be the last post before the finished project!!

Update on the kitchen!
- Walls were primed and painted
- Windows were installed
- The floors were leveled
- Outside door was installed

Day 9-11: Insulation was installed

Day 12&13: Hung up the drywall

Day 14: Finishing the drywall (joint compound)

Day 5-8:
Changed some of the framing.
Removed the old k**b and tube. Eliminated a subpanel.

Day 3&4- The tile and concrete were removed with the jack hammer. We found some cool old tile designs!

Day 5- Finished getting the rest of the tile out and laid down subfloor!

Day 2- They finished tearing down the drywall in the bathroom and laundry room

Not often do we work on old houses but yesterday was day 1 of a new kitchen/laundry room/bathroom remodel!

Day 1(Gutting day)- All cabinets and dry wall were removed from the kitchen

One thing we specialize in is building custom homes! On Monday, the guys set the trusses for this house! Thanks to Paul’s Crane for allowing us to rent a crane for the day! Also thanks to US Truss from R.P. Lumber Company for the trusses!!
