Quick before and after of a bathroom floor we just fixed. A floor joist had been cut to make room for toilet plumbing but never properly addressed. The toilet leaked and rotted the subfloor. We took out the old tile framed the floor under the toilet and installed new tile.

We recently completed another custom bathroom remodel, which involved repairing damage caused by a broken pipe. Our team addressed the pipe issue, as well as water damage to walls and floors in the bathroom and surrounding rooms, before commencing the new bathroom project. This house, garage, and shed consistently looks impressive after sealing. Several years ago, we scraped and applied log siding stain to this house. At the time, it hadn’t been done in a very long time, and when the new owners inherited it, it was one of the first things they addressed. This past week, they contracted us to apply another coat. The first time, we did two coats, and it held up really well. Traditionally, it wouldn’t need to be done again for a couple more years, but because it hadn’t been done for so long, it needed a bit more. This time, we scraped and only needed one coat to seal it. We use Proluxe log and siding. If you ever need a recommendation for a wood-sided house, I highly recommend it.

During remodeling, it is vital to ensure that your contractor is installing features correctly. Homeowners' insurance usually does not provide coverage for damages caused by incorrect installation, such as tile showers where tile is glued directly to drywall. A mistake like this would not only be excluded from coverage but could also cause substantial damage that would not be covered.
