The transformation is in the details.

Today wasn’t about the finish coat—it was about making sure the finish coat has the best foundation possible.

Every piece of trim is being carefully:

✔ Primed
✔ Caulked
✔ Filled
✔ Sanded
✔ Inspected

These aren’t the glamorous parts of a project, but they’re the reason a paint job still looks beautiful years later.

We believe the work no one notices is what makes people notice the finished result.

Final reveal on the red house!

We’ve been sharing this one step by step, and here’s the finished transformation. Three days of prep, scraping, spot priming, trim work, and finish coats all came together to bring this sweet home back to life.

Phase 2 is complete!

Yesterday and this morning we continued transforming this office space, freshening the walls while preserving the beautiful oak doors and trim. Cody was busy cutting in and bringing everything together.

By this afternoon, we traded paint brushes for mountain views and snuck away to Anderson Ranch for a little Idaho therapy.

Owning a family business means working hard and appreciating the moments in between.

Phase 2 is officially complete, and next weekend we’ll be back for Phase 3 to continue the transformation!

Mountain Home home!

This project has involved much more than a simple repaint.

Over the last several days we’ve:
✔ Scraped failing paint
✔ Repaired damaged siding
✔ Spot primed exposed wood
✔ Restored window glazing
✔ Caulked and sealed problem areas
✔ Prepared the entire exterior for paint

The prep work is finished, and this home is now ready for spraying on Friday.

Not every day in painting is a spray day!

The wind had other plans for us today, so instead of spraying our current project, we started prep work on this older home.

Years of peeling paint, weathered siding, failed caulking, and wood repairs mean one thing: preparation comes first.

The best paint jobs don’t start with paint…they start with proper prep.

We spent today scraping, inspecting, and making a plan to bring this home back to life.

Another day in the books!

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I love what we do. It wasn’t just about painting—it was about teamwork, pride, and taking care of someone’s home like it’s our own.

We spent the day patching, prepping, masking, spraying, and paying attention to all the little details that make a big difference. We even had a few laughs when we removed the house numbers and saw what was hiding underneath! 😂

The crew worked hard in the 88 degree weather we haven’t had in a while with the wind we have been having, but nobody complained. We took a break under the shade tree for lunch, recharged, and got right back to it. I’m blessed to work alongside a group of guys who care about doing the job right.

Tomorrow the boys have a well-earned day off after working through the weekend. Scott and I will be on our next project getting everything prepped, and we’ll be back here Wednesday to keep this transformation going.

To our customers—thank you for trusting Wells Painting with your homes. We don’t just paint houses; we build relationships and take pride in every project we touch.

Weekend Project Update

Another successful weekend in the books!

This weekend, our crew completed the first phase of a multi-weekend painting project at Desert Sage Health Centers. Because patient care comes first, all of our work is completed while the clinic is closed so they can continue serving the community during the week.

The transformation from preparation to finished walls is exactly why we believe that quality painting starts long before the final coat goes on. Careful patching, protecting surfaces, straight cut lines, and attention to detail make all the difference.

We’re honored to be trusted with this project and look forward to returning next weekend to complete the next phase.
