The little details during construction can make a big difference later.

During the plumbing rough in, exposed valves can be covered before drywall goes up. This keeps drywall mud, dust, and debris off the plumbing components that will eventually be visible inside your cabinets, while also helping protect them from damage during the rest of construction.

It’s a small step, but it’s part of taking care of the work before the finished details ever make their way into your home.

And this is one reason having skilled subcontractors matters. Good construction isn’t just about what you see when the home is finished. It’s also about the care taken behind the walls and throughout the process.

Your business is more than a business. It’s an opportunity to steward what God has entrusted to you.

It’s easy to pray for growth, more opportunities, and greater influence. But what if the better prayer is, “God, help me become the person who can faithfully carry what You’re asking me to carry?”

Pray for His direction when decisions feel unclear.
Pray that your work would glorify Him.
Pray for wisdom when you don’t know what to do next.
And pray for greater influence with the understanding that influence comes with greater responsibility.

The goal isn’t simply to build a bigger business. It’s to build something God can use for His purposes.

Let Him lead the business.
Let Him shape the business.
Let Him receive the glory.

You walk into our design studio with a Pinterest board full of ideas and a vision of what home could look like.

What you don’t see are the hours spent preparing for your visit. Pulling samples, studying your inspiration, thinking through your family’s needs, and finding those little details you didn’t even know you wanted.

We sit together, talk through the possibilities, lay everything out, change our minds a few times, and slowly watch it all come together.

And my favorite part? Watching you walk out of our studio even more excited about the home we’re about to build than when you walked in.

That’s exactly how I want you to feel. 🤎

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

We believe God gives each of us unique gifts and talents, and what a blessing it is when those gifts come together to serve others.

Last night, we had the opportunity to celebrate some of the incredible people we are blessed to work alongside. These men and women pour their hearts into their craft, take pride in their work, and bring so much more to each home than just their skills.

The truth is, we couldn’t do what we do without them. And even more importantly, we wouldn’t want to.

We never want to take for granted the relationships God has placed in our lives through this business. Our hope is to continue building alongside people who share our values, take pride in serving others, and understand that the work we do is about so much more than building houses.

When we use the talents God has entrusted to us to serve others, we have an opportunity to glorify Him in even the smallest details.

To our subcontractors and vendors, thank you. We are genuinely grateful for your hard work, your friendship, and the opportunity to grow together. We pray that we never lose sight of the people who make all of this possible. 🤍

After a VERY long, VERY frustrating Facebook hiatus… Action Brown County is officially back in action! 🙌

And while we're sure you've thoroughly enjoyed all the wedding dress reels and random content Facebook has served up in our absence, we know you're REALLY here for all things Brown County. 😉😂

Another exciting day as we break ground on a new home in Macomb! 🤎

We couldn’t be more excited for this family and all that’s ahead of them. So many good memories will be made here, and we’re grateful we get to be a small part of their story!

A good plan doesn’t just live on paper. It needs to make sense on the jobsite, too.

During the framing stage, we start making the future layout visible. Once final measurements are in, cabinetry, showers, vanities, and other fixtures can be spray painted directly onto the walls and floors so everyone can see where things are going.

Then, the spec sheets go up right where those features will be installed.

That means the plumber, electrician, cabinet installer, and other trades can reference the details they need without having to guess or track down the information. And when homeowners visit the jobsite, they can start to visualize how the spaces will actually come together.

It’s one more way to keep everyone working from the same plan and make sure the details are thought through before they become permanent.

A home build isn’t just about getting to move in day. It’s about how you feel getting there.

“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31

That verse shapes so much of how we approach the homeowner experience, especially when it comes to the final walkthrough.

If we were moving into a new home, we’d want someone to slow down, pay attention to the details, answer questions honestly, and make sure concerns were addressed. We wouldn’t want to feel rushed just because the finish line was in sight.

So that’s what we aim to provide for our homeowners.

We take the time to walk through each space, create a thorough punch list, and address the details that could easily be overlooked. Because the little things matter, and homeowners deserve to feel confident and cared for when they receive the keys to their home.
