It's hard to believe this little stand didn't even exist 6 months ago.
It was something I'd talked about for a while, but was nervous to start. Looking back, I'm so happy I finally decided to open it, despite many thoughts of doubt throughout the process. The community, friends, and collaborations I've found through this endeavor have changed so much of my life perspective... in the best way possible.
Although, I couldn't help but be sad as I walked through the flower field and the garden this week, realizing how fast the season truly went by. I unfortunately spent most of my summer sick from migraines that really ramped up this year for some reason. It made it almost completely impossible for me to work outside during the day. I wasn't able to show up like I wanted to for my little stand in this first year, and ended up burnt out because I couldn't keep up. But I am still SO proud of how the season went.
Behind the scenes was my husband. Right by my side the entire time. Building all of the things, brainstorming ideas, doing a lot of the physical labor for me that I just couldn't do without triggering a migraine or flare up and being out of commission for hours to days. I couldn't have survived this season (or life in general) without him. I think I'll keep him around lol
I'm looking forward to next year and seeing what it brings for the stand. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who supported me in this new adventure. Every like, share, purchase, etc meant so much to me.
Roots & Run Farmstand is closed for the season. Reopening Spring 2027πΏ
