🔥 Is your property ready for fire season?
California Public Resources Code 4291 requires 100 feet of defensible space around your structure. And with fire seasons getting longer and more intense, now is the time to get ahead of it... not scramble when inspectors come knocking.
Here's what Cal Fire 👩🚒 requires:
🏠 Zone 0 (0–5 ft from your structure)
The ember-resistant zone. Clear dead weeds, grass, and debris. Use gravel, pavers, or concrete instead of combustible mulch. (Not yet legally required, but strongly recommended.)
🏠 Zone 1 (5–30 ft)
Remove dead leaves, pine needles, and debris. Maintain vegetation in a way that slows fire spread.
🏠 Zone 2 (30–100 ft)
Mow grass to a maximum of 4 inches, create spacing between shrubs and trees, and remove dead vegetation. This is where mastication really earns its place. 🚜
That's where we come in.✊
We specialize in mastication work for defensible space… clearing brush and vegetation efficiently across all three zones, on properties of all sizes. Whether you're a homeowner, managing rural acreage, or part of an HOA, we can help you get compliant and keep your property protected. 🔥🏠
