🌳💨 We don’t just clean up the job site — we take care of the neighbors, too!

When leaf blowing kicks up a little dust and ends up on the neighbors’ cars, we break out the Milwaukee handheld air gun and take care of that, too! 💪

At Black Butte Tree Service, we believe doing the job right means leaving things cleaner than we found them — and looking out for the people around us. Good work, good neighbors, and going the extra mile. That’s how we do business! 🤝🌲

📍 Serving Mount Shasta and Siskiyou County.

Taking down a treetop using a span rigging system 🌲💪

This is where experience, proper rigging, and the right equipment make all the difference. We’re able to carefully control the top as it comes down, keeping the job efficient and minimizing the impact on everything underneath.

Another day of safely taking down trees here in Siskiyou County.

🌲 Careful Rigging. Controlled Lowering. Safe Removal.

This tree had a hollowed-out base and a large crack, making how we rigged and lowered the top especially important.

For this removal, we used a span rigging system at a downward angle to help reduce the forces being transferred into the tree. By controlling the direction and angle of the rigging, we were able to carefully manage the load and bring the top safely to the ground.

Every tree is different, and proper rigging is about understanding the tree’s condition, the forces involved, and choosing the right technique for the situation.

Safety starts before the saw ever makes a cut. 🌲🪢

🔥 FAIR Plan Insurance Compliance — We Handle It From Start to Finish 🔥

We recently helped a homeowner get their property into compliance with their California FAIR Plan insurance requirements.

When we arrived, we reviewed the notice they had received and walked the property to identify everything that needed to be removed or addressed in order to meet the requirements.

📸 Before Photos: We documented the property before starting so there was a clear record of the work that needed to be completed.

🌲 Complete Cleanup: We then executed all of the required tree and vegetation work, taking care of the items identified in the insurance notice.

📸 After Photos: Once everything was completed, we documented the finished work with detailed after photos.

📨 We Handled the Paperwork: We submitted the completed photos directly to the FAIR Plan on the homeowner’s behalf, helping take the hassle out of the process.

From reviewing the notice → identifying the work → completing the job → documenting the results → submitting everything to the FAIR Plan, we handled the entire process from start to finish.

If you’ve received a FAIR Plan notice and aren’t sure what needs to be done, give us a call. We can come out, assess the property, explain what needs to be addressed, and take care of the work for you.
