The kitchen runs along one wall so the rest of the space can
still be somewhere you sleep. So a fully
working kitchen that doesn't announce itself as one.
The one piece of texture is the fluted surround we drew for
the hood. We build one for nearly every kitchen that leaves
our factory, sized to the exact width of the run, so the
ventilation reads as part of the architecture instead of
something hung on the wall. Miele underneath it, invisible
until you look.
Drawn, cut and finished in our own factory in Arlington
Heights.
Now look at the last slide.
There is a door in that wall. No handle, no frame, no hinge
you can see. Tomorrow we open it.
Follow so you don't miss it and send this to whoever's
been planning a guest suite all year.
