This morning, Team SERVPRO had the honor of participating in the 9/11 Stair Climb alongside members of our community. It was one of those mornings that puts things into perspective and reminds you just how much this day means.

As we climbed, each step was a reminder of the 110 stories the firefighters of the World Trade Center climbed that morning. It’s difficult to fully comprehend the magnitude of what happened that day—and the lives forever changed because of it.

There really are no words that can fully capture the magnitude of September 11th or the lives that were changed forever. But we can remember. We can honor. And we can make sure their stories and sacrifices are never forgotten.

We’re grateful we could come together as a team, stand alongside our community, and pay tribute to the first responders who gave everything—and to those who continue to serve every day.

SERVPRO of Mt. Pleasant, Clare & Houghton Lake is proud to sponsor the Women in Business Series through the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce.

Today’s session brought together local women to discuss How Women Rise by Sally Helgesen and Marshall Goldsmith—a book that sparked some great conversations about leadership, growth, and the habits that can sometimes hold us back.

We love seeing women in our community come together to share ideas, encourage one another, and learn from each other. Creating opportunities like these helps strengthen not only the women who participate, but our entire business community. 💚

Over the next three days, we will have the privilege of participating in three events that each strengthen our community in different ways:

• Women in Business with the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce- celebrating leadership, collaboration, and professional growth.
• The 9/11 Stair Climb with Michigan Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics Michigan – honoring the bravery and sacrifice of our first responders while supporting Special Olympics.
• The SERVPRO First Responder 5K – bringing our community together to raise funds for the Isabella County First Responders Fund.

At SERVPRO of Mt. Pleasant, Clare & Houghton Lake, we're proud to support organizations and events that invest in the people who make our communities stronger.
