Some things become more beautiful because they were never kept perfect. 🤎
Look closely at the old handrail, the worn heart-pine floors and the places where generations of footsteps left their mark.
That kind of wear can’t be bought or recreated overnight. It takes decades of ordinary life—children running upstairs, hands sliding along the rail, family coming and going through that hallway.
I wouldn’t refinish a thing.
Would you preserve all that wear, or restore it?
