Help Wanted – Excavation & Hardscapes Crew Member
Shenandoah Ground Works is an Excavation & Hardscapes Contractor focused on working locally in the Shenandoah Valley as much as possible, based in Mount Jackson, close to Bryce Mountain. Contractor jobs range from full-site clearing and excavation to hardscapes projects.
We are seeking to hire a full-time crew member. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the construction industry performing hands on duties. Prior experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain and uneven terrain
Ability to lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment components weighing up to 50 pounds when required
Ability to perform various laborer responsibilities outdoors for extended periods of time
Ability to sit and operate heavy equipment for extended periods while maintaining constant attention, control, and keeping safety as the top priority (training provided)
General Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to operate a manual transmission
Must be able to work a standard workweek
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Average Weekly Hours 32-40
Pay Range: $17-$20 per hour based on experience
