Sometimes a repair is all you need!
This customer contacted us about a bathroom exhaust fan that had stopped working and was expecting to need a whole new unit. After taking a look, we found that the fan motor itself had failed. Instead of replacing the entire exhaust fan, we were able to replace just the motor and get the existing unit working again, saving the customer the added cost and work of a full replacement.

Don’t forget about your downspouts this fall! Cleaning leaves out of your gutters is important, but make sure you check where that water goes, too. Downspouts should be clear and direct water away from your foundation, rather than dumping it right alongside the house.

Downspout extensions like the ones pictured are a simple way to carry that water farther away from your home. There are several styles available, so you can choose one that works best for your yard and drainage needs.

While you’re doing your fall maintenance, take a quick walk around the house during or after a rain and look for overflowing gutters, clogged downspouts, or water pooling near the foundation.
