📣 Transparency, Integrity, and Trust Matter — Especially in Our Community

I want to share something that recently came to our attention.

Another locksmith in town (who recently opened a shop) is also the administrator of several local community Facebook groups. When we attempted to post about our family-owned locksmith business in those groups, our posts were removed and we were blocked from accessing the pages entirely.

This prevents competing businesses from participating and creates the false impression that only one locksmith serves our area.

Community groups should exist to support all local businesses and residents — not be used as a tool to silence competition or manipulate visibility.

What’s especially concerning is the dishonesty of running “community” pages this way while presenting yourself as a neutral resource. If someone is willing to control information and exclude others for personal gain, that raises serious questions about integrity — and integrity matters when you’re trusting someone with your locks, your property, and your family’s security.

For those who don’t know us, we are a long-established, family-owned locksmith business that proudly serves this community with honest work, fair pricing, and real local roots. We don’t believe in silencing others — we believe in earning business through service, transparency, and trust.

Customer lost his key to this file safe. I asked him if anything valuable was in it as I was determining if he should leave it. He replied an eager yes 🙌! So I picked it to empty it and then he could leave it so I could impression a key for it. After unlocking it I turned it around on the counter so he could empty it. In 35 years of opening safes I never open the door I just unlock it an leave that to the customer. When he opened the lid he reached in and pulled out a stack of $100 bills that was at least 5 inches thick!!! Then another stack, then antique coins, then antique 20 dollar bills from the 1800’s! I was dumbfounded that anyone would put such a large amount of money in such a vulnerable safe. I literally picked it in about 4 seconds! Then impressioned a key in about 3 minutes!

A customer called and said he couldn’t lock the stationary door on his French doors! These doors are 8’ tall and 3 1/2” ...

A customer called and said he couldn’t lock the stationary door on his French doors! These doors are 8’ tall and 3 1/2” thick and have a copper skin. They were over $15,000! It had an automatic flush bolt that throws when the door closes! The company went out of business right after he bought the doors so there’s no replacement parts! Matlock to the rescue! We were able to troubleshoot the problem immediately and correct it! Lock problems? Give us a call! We’re not afraid to tackle any lock job!
