Before anything get painted, the whole room gets sealed off and protected, floors covered, air scrubber running to keep dust and overspray contained while we work.

Josh took his time on this one to make sure it was done right, not rushed.

Primer isn’t always necessary, but when it is, it serves an important purpose. It can help with adhesion, seal porous surfaces, block stains, and provide a more consistent surface for the finish coat.

This poolside deck is about to get a serious refresh

Years of pool season sun and splashes have faded this older composite deck, and it's next up on our schedule.

We'll be painting and sealing the whole surface, working carefully around the railing and pool structure for a clean finish that protects the deck for seasons to come.

Keep an eye out. We'll be sharing the after shots once it's done, and this one's going to be a good before-and-after.

This one's from a church in Vincennes with a vaulted ceiling and a job that took some real planning. Chandeliers got wrapped and lifted clear, every pew covered, before anyone touched a brush.

That's Trey in the blue shirt, Zaken in the ballcap, and George finishing out the crew. Trey's no longer with the company, and honestly, we still notice it on jobs like this one. He had a lot to do with why mornings on site went the way they did.

We've been lucky with the people who've come through this crew, past and present. That's the standard we try to carry into every job, Vincennes or otherwise.

Tuesday Tip: Don’t paint over peeling paint.

If paint is peeling, scraping and preparing the surface first is important. Simply painting over it may cover the problem temporarily, but the new coating is only as sound as the surface underneath it.

Proper prep helps the new paint bond better and creates a cleaner, more durable finish.

Some clients make it especially easy to love what we do.

We were fortunate enough to work with this homeowner in Vincennes, IN, not once, but twice.
After her first project with us, she trusted us to come back for a second project, this time giving her sunporch a fresh coat of paint.

She was wonderful to work with from the start, and it was just as great getting to see her again for the second project.

She also had some very kind things to say about our crew, especially Zaken, and how carefully he handled the work and cleanup.

For us, that kind of feedback means a lot.
We can paint a room, porch, or exterior, but getting to build that kind of trust with a homeowner is what makes the work truly rewarding.

They left town while we were still working. They came home to a finished job.

That's the kind of trust that gets built over time, not something that happens on the first call.

One of our repeat clients left us a review after we handled a few rooms and some repair work in her home. She and her family were traveling during part of the project. When they got back, everything was done.

That's what we're working toward with every home we walk into here in Mt. Carmel, IL. Not just a finished room, but the kind of trust where someone hands you their keys and doesn't think twice.

A good crew doesn’t need someone standing over their shoulder to do the job right.

This photo from a project in Evansville, IN is a good example of that. Zaken, George, and Levi are putting in the work, taking ownership of the project, and keeping the same standards we expect on every job.

Josh doesn’t have to always be on site for the standard to stay the standard.
Good planning, communication, and a crew that takes pride in their work are what make that possible.

And while we’re proud of the guys pictured here, the team definitely misses having Trey around too.
