Let’s talk about estimates & bids. When you get one quote for $5,000 to put in a lawn, and another for $8,000 - there’s a reason for that. All the prep work to do the job properly takes time. The cheap bids usually don’t include properly killing off w**ds, adding good top soil, smoothing out all the rough spots, ensuring proper grading and drainage, starter fertilizer, proper irrigation coverage, and more. There’s a lot that goes into doing a job right the first time.
Anyone can throw a lawn in and water it for a few weeks, but in the long run, how is it going to look? Your landscape is the first thing people see. It’s an investment, and when done properly, will last for years to come.
