Opportunity to grow into a leadership role
O’Neal Trade Services is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to help us continue building our commercial electrical division.
We’re not just looking for someone to sit behind a desk and estimate jobs.
We want someone who understands electrical construction from the plans to the field and can help take a commercial project from estimate → preconstruction → construction → closeout.
The right person will be involved with:
• Electrical estimating and takeoffs
• Reviewing plans and specifications
• Material and labor pricing
• Vendor quotes and purchasing
• Project budgets and cost tracking
• Submittals and RFIs
• Change orders
• Scheduling and manpower coordination
• Working with foremen and field crews
• GC and customer communication
• Billing and project documentation
• Project closeout
Who are we looking for?
Someone with a strong electrical construction background who is organized, dependable, understands the numbers, can solve problems, and is ready to take ownership of projects without being micromanaged.
Commercial electrical estimating or project management experience is preferred, but we're also interested in experienced electrical foremen or supervisors who have the knowledge and ability to make the move into project management.
More importantly, we want someone who wants to grow.
This position has the potential to develop into a Commercial Division Manager / leadership position as O’Neal Trade Services continues to expand.
We believe in giving good people responsibility, holding them accountable, and giving them more freedom as they earn trust and prove they can handle it.
If you're an experienced electrical professional and feel like you're ready for the next step, we'd like to talk.
