Hi friends. 💚

How are you?

It’s been a while, I know. And I’m sorry. Life has been pedal to the metal this past summer. My new job position has been more than I anticipated (in a good way), these kids are keeping me BUSY, and God has pulled me to focus on all of that for a while.

What does that mean for Rooted Table? Nothing. 🙂 I’m still here. Still have my hands in the dirt. Still learning and growing and thriving in the garden. 🪴 This is a season and I know the Lord has a plan for Rooted Table. I know it’s here to make a big impact on people.

Although, this summer was 🥵 and a constant struggle in my garden. But I have some plans for next year to ease the workload for myself.

We had an amazing private pollinator pot event last night and let me tell you…

Who doesn’t love a clean slate?! I’ve been back and forth on transitioning to a no till garden and beds but this year just isn’t it. Maybe next…

I just love a freshly tilled, clean garden ready for a new season! Tomatoes and peppers are in (thankfully that quick storm that blew through last night didn’t damage them, a risk I’m willing to take)!

Next I’ll reset the trellises and plant my direct sow crops like zucchini, cucumbers, melons, and more!
