Bryan recently built a floating duck house for a customer. The customer is currently putting her ducks through “Duck Boot Camp” to make sure they know that the little green house is their home before sending it out to the middle of their pond.

Things have changed so much for us over the past year. First, as most of you know, we sold our place in Westphalia and moved to our beautiful new farm in Gasconade County. Bryan had to get his shop set up so he could start working on projects again. Once he got his shop ready, (and completed about 1,000 other projects that he wanted to do here) he started building again.

First out the door is this Coleman Coop that he built for a returning customer. You can learn more about all the features of the Coleman Coop - and all of our coops - on our website: WestphaliaTradingCo.com

A complete update about our past year will be coming soon - just know that even though we’re no longer in Westphalia, the outstanding quality of our products remains the same!

What have we been up to? Well,in addition to having a couple of coops that he’s working on currently, Bryan has built some beautiful wooden pieces that we currently have for sale at the Old School Antiques Mall Flea Market in Linn! Stop in to check them out! We also have a variety of antique dishes, knick knacks, kitchen items, and punch art projects made by Erin Koerner in our booth.

Old School is open from 9 AM - 6 PM Wednesdays - Saturdays and 10 AM - 4 PM on Sundays.

Update: SOLD!

Those little chicks will soon be appearing in your local stores! Don’t buy them until you have a place to put them - they grow up fast! But we have good news - this brand new adorable double-decker loft coop is now $1000. This coop is designed to hold 5-6 chickens and is perfect for your backyard! (It also would work for rabbits!)

There is a trap door in the floor with a ramp that allows chickens to go down below and stretch but still protects them from your neighbor’s dog! At night, they go into their shelter, and you can make sure they stay safe by closing the guillotine door with a pulley from the outside.

There are a couple of nest boxes inside the shelter as well so that you can easily collect the eggs!

Delivery is available, or you can pick it up yourself!
