With spring approaching and construction season getting ready to kick into high gear, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those in the community who may be in need of future electrical work.
My name is Jonathan and I own and operate LB Electrical Solutions, a residential electrical company serving Butler County and the surrounding area. I’m a Kentucky licensed Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor, licensed to complete work in Butler County and the surrounding area. I am a graduate of Butler County High School and rooted in this community along with my wife Lindsey and three children. I work alongside my eldest brother, Jason, who is also a Master Electrician.
We’re second-generation electricians, and I’m also a U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran. I began my electrical journey when I was about 12 years old helping my father wire homes here in Butler County then assisted him throughout my teenage years when he traded in his tools to become an inspector. Many of the houses that stand in this community today are homes I had the opportunity to work on alongside him.
My father later served as the local electrical inspector for more than 20 years, and he was truly a brilliant mind when it came to electrical safety and code compliance. Because of his role, there’s a good chance that if a home was built in Butler County over the past couple of decades, our family had some connection to it — either by our hands installing the work or by his careful eye inspecting it.
Growing up around his work shaped how we approach this trade. My father always emphasized forethought in electrical work and was almost religious about making me think ahead. He believed a good electrician should look beyond today and consider what a homeowner might need years down the road.
That meant doing small things that don’t always show up on a bid but make a big difference later — leaving room in panels for expansion, installing extra circuits where future use is likely, preparing for generator hookups, or pulling strings and planning pathways so additional circuits can be added easily in the future. Those kinds of details were important to him, and they’re a big part of how we approach our work today.
At LB Electrical Solutions we focus on residential electrical work including:

We also understand how important timelines are on construction projects. I make it a priority to respond quickly, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving so homeowners and builders aren’t left waiting on electrical work.
Because of the way we were taught, we believe in planning electrical systems thoughtfully — placing outlets, switches, and lighting where they make sense for everyday living and considering what a homeowner may want years down the road. Because of that, we may not always be the lowest price, but our goal is always to deliver workmanship and attention to detail that homeowners can feel confident in long after the job is finished and that our father would approve of.
