Quiet Online, Busy on the Build Site

It’s been a while since our last post — not because we’ve been idle, but because we’ve been deep in the work we love: designing and building unique outdoor spaces for families and adventurers.

Here’s a quick look at five standout projects we’ve completed recently. Each one reflects the creativity, craftsmanship, and care we put into every build.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about each project — the stories, the design process, and plenty more photos.

Thanks for sticking with us. We’re looking forward to catching you up.

Exciting News! Noble Built Adventure is Back at It!

After pouring our hearts into WNC and storm relief efforts, we’re so excited to shift our focus back to Noble Built Adventure, our business, our family, and our mission to create meaningful spaces that bring people closer to nature.

This weekend, we’ll be at the Charlotte Home and Landscape Show in Concord, and we’d love for our family and friends to come by and see us! This is our first big event since the hurricane, and it feels so good to be getting back into the swing of things.

If you’re curious about what we’ve been up to or just want to come hang out and support, we’d love to see you there! We have tickets available, so if you’d like to attend, just reach out to Jesse, Jacob or Charleen and we’ll get you set up.

📅 When: This weekend
📍 Where: Charlotte Home and Landscape Show, Concord, NC
🔗 Event Details: https://www.charlottehomeandlandscapeshow.com/

We’re so grateful for the support we’ve received from our community, and we can’t wait to reconnect and share what’s next for Noble Built Adventure. See you there!

Help Us Help Others!

We’re calling on our amazing community! A volunteer group from Greensboro is joining us on Saturday to split firewood from recent storm tree removals. However, we need your help to gather more firewood for donation to families in hard-hit areas.

Here’s how you can help:

- Dry firewood donations: In exchange, we’ll provide you with split wet firewood that will be ready for use next year. (We're not trying to take anyone's full stock pile).

- Log donations (green or dry): If you have logs that need to be split, we’d gladly accept them! Please note that we’re unable to exchange logs for split firewood.

-Labor or Log Splitters/Axes: We currently have a bigger pile than I believe we can get through with 2 splitters and 1 day of work. If you have a splitter and want to help out for the day, we'd be glad to have you this Saturday.

For small quantities: We’ll have a drop-off and exchange location in Morganton.
For larger quantities: We’re happy to arrange a pickup!

All firewood and logs will be transported in large quantities to central firewood banks for distribution in hard-hit areas.

Let’s come together to support those in need this winter. If you can help, please reach out or bring your donations to our drop-off location. Together, we can make a difference!

We’re continuing our efforts to provide insulated survival shelters for those displaced by the hurricane, but we can’t do it without your support! Below is our current material needs list, and we’d love your help to continue to make these structures a reality.

Materials We Need

Pine or Spruce Framing Lumber
• 2x4s (8’ & 16’)
• 2x6s (8’ & 16’)
• 2x8s (8’ & 16’)

Pressure-Treated Lumber
• 6x6 - 16’

House Wrap
• Tyvek or an equivalent weather-resistant wrap

Sheet Metal
• For siding and roofing
• Drip edge and J-channel
• Screws

Hardware & Accessories
• 3” framing nails (paper-collated, clipped, and full head)
• White exterior caulk
• Prehung exterior doors
• Door lock sets (2-hole with deadbolt)

How You Can Help

🔹 New Materials: If you can’t donate new materials in large quantities, we recommend pooling funds so we can purchase at discounted rates.
🔹 Old/Leftover Materials: We can use certain items like pressure-treated lumber or house wrap if they’re leftover.
🔹 Big-Ticket Items: Contact us if you have connections or the ability to purchase items like prehung doors or sheet metal—your support here makes a massive impact!

We’re working tirelessly to help families displaced transition into safe, insulated shelters as winter sets in. Every donation, whether it’s materials, funds, or connections, gets us closer to building more homes for those in need.

Let’s build hope together. Contact us to learn more or to contribute. Thank you for being part of this effort!

We all know how much Facebook reviews can help a company, and since we’re still the new kids on the block, we could use all the support we can get. If we’ve had the chance to help you or someone you know over the past six weeks, if we’ve worked on a project for you, or even if you’ve just had a good experience chatting with us—we’d love to hear about it!

A quick review with anything kind or encouraging you’d like to share would mean the world. Every little bit helps as we keep building and growing, one step at a time.

And for those who might be dreaming about a treehouse or playground for the future—although we haven’t shifted back to those projects just yet, we’re always here to start the conversation, brainstorm design concepts, and keep the inspiration flowing. So feel free to reach out!

Thanks for being a part of this journey with us!

In partnership with the nonprofit Your Home, we’re creating small, insulated survival shelters for individuals displaced by the recent hurricane. Built with care and purpose, these structures are designed to bring warmth, resilience, and a sense of safety to those facing tough times.

From the arrival of materials to the skilled hands at the Shop, each stage of this build reflects our commitment to making a difference. Here’s a look behind the scenes as these shelters come together, ready to provide not only a place to sleep and a source of heat but also a touch of hope.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Together, we’re building more than shelters—we’re building a future rooted in compassion.

We appreciate the feedback of people willing to help get our website up and active. I haven't a clue why, but as of today it is active and accessible. We are still doing some work to it and adding links to Project Your Home for applications to help and receive shelters.
Thank you for the ongoing support!

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Noble Built Adventure team. From removing storm-damaged trees to clearing driveways, Jesse and Jacob have been putting in the hard work. Grateful for all the support from our community as we help get things back in order!

If you happen to have any photos of us working, drop them in the comments please.

10/10/24 Starting next week, Noble Built Adventure will be shifting our focus to building free foot bridges for those in need in Burke and surrounding Countys. These bridges, which can be up to 30 feet long and 4x6 feet wide, are designed to help pedestrians and those using wheelbarrows access areas impacted by the recent storm (no vehicle traffic).

If you or someone you know needs a bridge, please comment or reach out as soon as possible so we can start planning. In emergency cases, we can try to reschedule some of our current tree jobs to prioritize urgent needs.

We are funding these bridges with donations we’ve collected and contributions from those who paid for tree services. If you’re in a position to cover the cost of materials, it would be greatly appreciated, but it’s not required. You can even “adopt” a bridge and fund its materials if you feel called to help.

As a small, family-owned business specializing in treehouses and playgrounds, we’ve paused our regular projects to focus on serving the community during this critical time. We are incredibly grateful to our clients for their understanding and support. We will continue to help where we can until we need to shift back to our business to meet our family’s needs.

If the need in Burke County is met, we plan to extend our efforts to neighboring counties to ensure help reaches those who need it most.

Thank you for your support, and please reach out if you or someone you know could use a foot bridge.
