It’s nice seeing an almost empty yard but it’s also a reminder that we need to buy more porta potties! I didn’t expect this expansion on our business to grow this fast, but we sure are thankful to be busy.

We have the best crappers set up for Fireball in the Hall Saturday! And of course we had to throw a pink one in for breast cancer awareness!

We repaired a plumbing job that was not done right today and was causing problems. There was a 4” line coming into another 4” line. The person who tied these together didn’t have a 4x4x4 Y pipe apparently. They used a 4x4x3 and used caulk to hold it inside the 4” pipe. This made a lip that got toilet paper caught in and kept plugging. We cut it all out and repaired it properly and added a stand pipe over the inlet for easier access to that baffle in case of a plug.
Again this goes to show that cheap work is not always good and good work is not always cheap.

I went on two service calls today. One was for an alarm going off. They had just bought the house not long ago and everything passed inspection. We found that both the pump switch and alarm switch were not set. They were just sitting on the effluent. So the alarm would go off every time the pump kicked in. We set the floats properly. I’m surprised it had passed inspection this way. This goes along with what I always say. Cheap isn’t good and good isn’t cheap.
The other call was a plugged inlet pipe at the baffle. We were able to get it opened up and everything flowing again for them.
