We were very excited this evening to spot a black swallowtail caterpillar munching on the dill. We got the remainder of the potatoes, green beans, beets, celery, onions, and more harvested. The garlic was planted for next season as well. Next week will be our last work week, and then we will have a potluck the beginning of October.

We have exciting news but… WE NEED YOUR HELP. We are getting 11 fruit trees for our garden! But this also means we have 11 big holes to dig! The garden is really taking off! Last week we harvested our first green beans, zucchini, peppers, peas, and beets. We've been picking chard, herbs, radishes, cucumbers, and more. Looking forward to tomatoes any day now. We also had the privilege of sharing our garden with several daycares that came by for tours and a garden lesson with UMN Extension-Clay County Master Gardeners and Extension educator Jill Patrie.
