Meet Alan Wilkes, ๐๐ข๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ & ๐๐ก๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ โ an aerospace engineer and highly experienced aviator whose career spans more than 25 years and approximately ๐,๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ.
A graduate of ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐ก ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ ๐.๐. ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ , Alan began building real-world aerospace experience while still in college through Gulfstream Aerospace's Cooperative Education Program. He later served as a ๐
๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐๐ฆ, establishing an engineering foundation that would ultimately be complemented by extensive experience in the cockpit.
Alan went on to serve more than 11 years in the ๐.๐. ๐๐ข๐ซ ๐
๐จ๐ซ๐๐, flying the ๐
-๐๐ and ๐-๐๐๐ and qualifying as an ๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ. He joined IOMAX in 2015, progressing from Instructor Pilot to Chief Pilot and now Director of Engineering & Chief Pilot.
His qualifications include ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ ๐
๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ certificates, along with instrument and multi-engine ratings.
