Here are some tips to help with this freezing weather! The main thing is to just drip both the hot and cold sides. If you drip the hot side, it pulls cold water into the tank, so you're technically doing both. Drip the cold as well, just to make a stream to be safe, and you should be good. For the kitchen sink and tub, depending on how your house is set up, always drip the furthest fixtures and those on exterior walls. Cover outside faucets and don't use them or leave the hoses connected. If you feel like you don't want any issues at all, drip everything the same way—you can't go wrong doing it. Also, if you want, every few hours, turn the hot and cold on full blast and let it run to assure lines are staying clear and not getting frozen. Better safe than sorry.
