A sweet Western Red Cedar fence we finished up.

We installed this 9’ steel framed gate powder coated black. The pickets are attached using stainless steel self tapping screws.

Another small change we made was switching to stainless coil nails since multiple brands we normally use from local fence supply stores started leaving black streaks on some occasions.

Cedar contains natural tannins that keep it from rotting and making it bug resistant but is also very acidic which can cause those black streaks if it interacts with bare metal and apparently the hot dipped galvanized nails we are use to using which is the industry standard.

Some 6’ Tall Sheet Metal Fencing we just finished up!

Built with 4”x4” Posts and 3.5”x1.5” C-Purlins

Some extra touches we added were that we coated the ground contact areas of the posts in Cold Galvanizing Compound as well as all the welds and added drain holes where water could collect in the rails.

We always look for details we can add that will prolong the life of our customers investment.

Our customer had slipped and fallen on the ice during one of our Oklahoma winter storms and decided it was finally time to do something about her front entry.

She lives in a neighborhood with some really beautiful ornamental iron and wanted hers to stand out too. We worked up several designs based on a few pieces she liked around the neighborhood and kept going until we landed on this one.

Coming home should feel good — like walking in and seeing fresh flowers on the table. That feeling at the end of a long day is exactly what we’re trying to give people.
