New roof summer '21 and an exterior remodel during summer of '23.

We replaced and retrimmed all the windows and doors, then installed new soffit, fascia, and siding. The trim is solid PVC, which makes for minimal J-channel and a cleaner look.

LVL's and I-joists make up the floor framing.

Using I-joists is a little different from using 2x material but they're generally straighter and sturdier. And they can be purchased at whatever length you need. That more than makes up for the extra blocking details they require.

A few pics from our latest project.

This is a 28x32 CMU stem wall foundation with interior slab. Footing and gutter drains run to daylight out the back. We've insulated with R15 XPS and installed the mudsill.

Framing is moving right along. I'll have an update on that tomorrow.
