As a parent and an employer who has experienced the value of the trade trained youth, we are thankful for Gov Scott’s work and commitment to our youth. They are our future and without reliable trade trained employees, we lose businesses and opportunities.

Some amazing Central Vermont Women and the way they choose to volunteer and support their community. Proud to sponsor the event, and even more proud to say several of these women are friends. As I said when seeking nominations sometimes it really is who you know.

Have a look at those names below. These are the people who don't just lead, they lift others up along the way. And that's worth celebrating! Join Central Vermont for a memorable night of recognition, inspiration, and community as we honor the individuals who make our region a stronger, better place to live and work.

The Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce is rolling out the red carpet for the 8th Annual ATHENA International Gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating extraordinary leaders who are making a difference, breaking barriers, serving their communities, and opening doors for the next generation of women leaders.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH

Some things can’t be outsourced. Some businesses and Vermonters work hard to make our State better. Some people have business smarts and the ability to hold people accountable. Without Phil Scott as Governor, Vermont’s businesses are in trouble.
We support and endorse Governor Scott because NO ONE NEEDS MORE TAXES.
That day care tax that businesses cover voluntarily could get passed on to you. That healthcare tax….same. That second home tax, there goes the family heritage on that small pond or cabin in the woods.
It is time we support businesses and encourage our youth to stay, work, and play in Vermont!
A hand up, not a hand out.

Oh what a night! More photos to come but wanted to thank the Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce, Country Catering of Vermont, and our crew especially Cam, Matt, Amanda and Jamie for a fantastic 50th event.
Our appreciation celebration couldn’t have had a more beautiful evening weather wise and we loved sharing stories, our history, and our new building with all who attended.
THANK YOU ALL for trusting in us for 50 years.
