On Halloween, Saturday October 31st, we will have the talented and magical Molly McHenry at Magick Within teaching and performing a Clove popping ritual!

What is a clove popping ritual? - it is an old folk practice where you burn cloves as a way to detect 'evil eye' and then cleanse and protect from said 'evil eye'. Cloves have been used for centuries to cleanse & protect from negative energy and bring in abundance and prosperity.

What is an 'evil eye'? - The "evil eye" is a concept of an evil glare that is believed to bring misfortune or harm to the person it is cast upon, often stemming from envy or malice. - At its core, this represents a universal fear – the fear of envy and malevolence. You see, it's said that certain individuals possess the power to cast curses simply by giving someone a jealous or envious look.

To ward off these bad vibes, people have turned to rituals, like clove popping, as a way to protect from these negative forces.

Happy October! 🎃✨️

Here's what's happening this month at Magick Within! ✨️

✨️ Saturday October 17th starting at 5pm we are hosting a Gallery Medium reading with Linda Struble and Energy Healing with Sharon Weixel ✨️

This is a great event to get confirmation that your loved ones are still around and with you always. Energy Healing with Sharon is option, but highly recommend as she does amazing things for mind, body and Spirit.

🍁 With Autumn now in full swing, October's crisp energy urges us to continue to clear out the cobwebs physically, spiritually, and emotionally and prepare for the Introspection that this upcoming winter will bring.
This month is also a perfect time for connecting with passed loved ones, ancestors, spirit guides, and more, as the veil between the worlds becomes thinner.
We are nearing Samhain, the final harvest festival and the Celtic New Year, on October 31st. Take stock of your accomplishments through the past year and celebrate them with feasts, family, friends, and frivolity.
