Montgomery ISD has reopened applications for the 2026-27 Two-Way Dual Language Program. The program is offered at Montgomery Elementary School and is available to all eligible incoming Kindergarten students whose native language is English.
Students in the program have the opportunity to become bilingual and biliterate while developing strong communication skills, enhanced literacy, and valuable skills that can benefit them in college, careers, and life.

The district will review applications and enrollment numbers to determine whether sufficient participation exists to establish a 2026-27 Kindergarten cohort that supports the Two-Way Dual Language model. Families will be notified of the program's status and next steps after the review process is complete.
