Heather Jantz (MJE Chief Operating Officer) represented MJE Livestock Equipment at the 2026 Kansas Governor’s Summit on Agricultural Growth, joining fellow Kansas business leaders for a panel discussion on transportation, freight and market access.

Reliable infrastructure plays a critical role in keeping agriculture moving, from raw materials and manufacturing to delivering equipment and products where they are needed. We’re proud to see Heather contributing MJE’s perspective to this important statewide conversation.

The Feedlot-Grade Alley starts double, transitions to single, then uses sheeted sides as cattle move forward towards the chute.

Why? The sheeting helps keep legs inside the alley, narrows the animal's field of vision, and limits outside distractions so cattle can keep moving forward calmly.

MJE Owner & COO Heather Jantz recently spoke with Kansas Living Magazine about rural housing, the impact it has on workforce recruitment, and the work happening right here in Montezuma to help create more housing opportunities.

We’re proud to see Heather helping move this important conversation forward, both here at home and alongside other rural leaders across Kansas.

New series. First episode.

The Working Details takes a closer look at the equipment we build: how it works, how to use it, how to maintain it, and why we designed it the way we did.

We’re starting with the Feedlot-Grade Alley.

Ethan walks through who it’s built for, the double-to-single design, adjustment options, quiet no-back gates, and the simple maintenance that keeps it working day after day.
