Lawler Specialties, Inc. DBA Lawler Building Systems is located just outside of Montevallo, Alabama at 7027 Highway 25 in Shelby County. It was started by Bill Lawler in 1948 upon coming out of the Navy after World War 2. He was joined by his father, William Lister Lawler soon afterwards. Together they began a small welding and repair shop which later manufactured such things as go carts, animal caskets, and then laying cages.
in 1978 Bills son Phil and daughter in law Jackie continued the business and further developed a steel warehouse and fabrication plant. in 1990, Lawlers became an Alabama General Contractor and began selling and erecting pre-engineered metal buildings which comprises most of its business at the present time.
in 2012 Lance Edwards, the son in law of Phil and Jackie joined them and is continuing the Lawler reputation of providing the public with honest, dependable service with quality products and workmanship.
Our goal is that Lawler Specialties, Inc. will be doing business for another 77 years by the grace of God.
