We found some more pictures of the Wisconsin Rapids addition from this winter!

Wisconsin winters may be relentless, but that doesn’t mean your building project has to wait.

Most builders—including us—carry a backlog of 5–10 months worth of work. Waiting until spring to start planning often means waiting even longer to build.

This was a fun small remodel we did this winter.

Removed an over head door and reframed for a new window.
Removed the wall that separated the 2 very small rooms.
Removed the old floor system that was simply laying on the concrete.
Anchored new 2x4 treated sleeper joists 1 1/2” foam inbetween to help with floor temperature.
Installed 3/4” subfloor with glue and screws for a squeak free finished product,
Giving us a clean slate for new flooring.
Built a new closet.
Reframed the existing door from 2’6” to 3’
Patched drywall and new (light skip trowel) texture.
Paint.
New laminate vinyl flooring.
Removed and re installed the fake beams on the ceiling.
New stained pine doors and trim throughout.
New ceiling fan.
New baseboard heater.
New reverse board and batten siding.

Here’s a roof replacement we finished this week.

New velux skylight ✅
Chimney removal ✅
New class 4 impact rated Certainteed shingles ✅

2,400 sq ft of Certainteed max def Pewter Northgates

New seamless gutters and stainless mesh guards will be the finishing touches on this one.

Roof framing completed!
The uppper level floor is sheeted and temporary bracing is removed. Finishing up overhangs and prepping for roofing next week!
Total sq footage with both levels is just shy of 2,600

This is a roof that we completed earlier in the fall for a customer near Wisconsin Rapids!

Single layer of architectural shingles off.
Re-decked.
Overhangs were straightened with shims and strapping. (moved almost 2” in spots)
2500 sq ft of new Certainteed Morie Black Landmarks installed.
New flashings.
