SLIP Trenchless upper and lower sewer lateral compliance project. The upper lateral was original Orangeburg which we replaced with a pipe bursting procedure and the existing lower lateral was VCP clay. The lower section we successfully inverted a new CIPP sewer liner with compressed airto the back of the city main line.

Trenchless CIPP lining of the lower lateral to back of city main line. Permaliner liner was inverted using compressed air to "stretch" into position. These ADU generated repairs sometimes are great candidates for a lining procedure to bring an 80-year-old system back to life at a fraction of what trenching may cost.

SLIP Trenchless lateral replacement and wye tapping with an ADU at the rear of property. This structure about 100 years old, cast iron and rather shallow. Post full line change out to the front and the back the driveway and parking lot were resealed, really making quite a cosmetic as well as storm water drainage improvements.

CIPP lateral lining project in Montecito. CIPP lining within the Montecito Sanitary District is NOT allowed unless the circumstance warrants this procedure. In this situation, with an elaborate hardscape and difficult elevations on the district's easement, lining was deemed the most effective and logical procedure to prevent damage to city infrastructure and neighboring property. The Montecito Sanitary District MUST evaluate these certain projects on a case-by-case basis!

This is a typical back to back bathroom with kitchen and laundry on the opposite side of the house. The cast iron was far too eroded and would not survive the descale procedure so secondary branch lines had to be re routed and the building sewer was replaced using trenchless pipe bursting.

Hydrotek Sewer and Pipe Services was called in for a second opinion to repair a damaged sewer lateral. What we found was electric and data lines had been placed directly on top the sewer line and the trench line was compacted without a stable base, causing a severe sagging and cracking in the sewer line. Fortunately the property owner had doubts and questions on the CIPP lining procedure that was originally offered to remedy the issue.

Trenchless sewer lateral pipe bursting of existing Orangeburg sewer in the Montalvo area. This area in Ventura is notorious for original Orangeburg piping. Before and shots....like we were never there!

Here is a lateral that has been cut and modified several times for ADU and remodeling. Unfortunately the line was installed with non conforming materials that prematurely failed. This structure was at the same elevation as the access manhole on Loma Vista Dr, thus requiring a proper check valve to prevent a potential sewage backup disaster!

SLIP Trenchless sewer tap and lateral replacement. Concrete street and 75 year old city main sewer line. The existing lateral fully root bound and required pipe burst to install new HDPE sewer line. From the building sewer we successfully have hydraulically pulled a new 4" line through the existing 4" Clay VCP line to the street.
