Passed the bar. Still cutting the grass. 🇺🇸💪

I’m Sean—contractor turned lawyer, and I still get my hands dirty. Today in Blairstown, New Jersey: replacing the cutting head on my RedMax w**d wacker. Did it myself, the new head works great, and this video shows you how you can do it too.

If you’re searching for how to replace a RedMax trimmer head, remove a w**d eater head, or install a replacement string trimmer head, watch this hands-on DIY repair and see the result.

Real tools. Real work. Trump hat on. Back to landscaping.

Match the replacement head to your specific model and follow its manual for fitment and removal direction. Engine off and spark plug lead disconnected before working.

Save this for your next trimmer repair, share it with someone who maintains their own yard, and tell me: what equipment are you running?

Rick Rosenfield spent over a decade as a federal prosecutor and private practice attorney before walking out of a San Francisco courtroom in 1985 and deciding he was done with law. Within 24 hours, he and his partner Larry Flax had mortgaged their homes and signed a Beverly Hills lease for a California-style pizza restaurant — a category that barely existed at the time.

Their original concept was actually a pasta cafeteria. A trip to a Glendale mall food court changed everything: they watched people grab mediocre pizza under heat lamps and rethought the entire idea on the drive home. The pivot led to California Pizza Kitchen — and when their original chef put barbecue chicken pizza on the menu, 150 of every 200 pizzas sold were that one dish. CPK grew to 25 locations in its first seven years, then accelerated after PepsiCo bought two-thirds of the company. By 2011, combining restaurant sales, frozen retail and international franchises, the system approached $1 billion in revenue. Rick and Larry sold to private equity for approximately $470 million.

Rick credits culture above everything else — a framework called ROCK: respect, opportunity, communication and kindness. CPK became the first national chain to go non-smoking after a single conversation with a manager who pointed out that servers didn't want to work in smoking sections.
His advice: don't fall in love with your ideas. Stay open to reality checks and adapt.

A house is just walls until the ground beneath it is right.
That’s where we come in.

Concrete is the first real step from structure to home—the slab you walk on, the patio you gather on, the steps that welcome you in. I’ve spent my life in real estate and construction, and I can tell you this: what’s underneath determines everything above it.

We don’t rush it. We prep it right. We grade it right. We pour and finish it with patience—because this isn’t just concrete, it’s the foundation of how you live.

For homeowners, it’s where life happens.
For investors, it’s what protects value.
For families, it’s where memories start.

Making a house feel like a home begins here.

Serving Montclair, Blairstown, and across Essex, Union, Morris, and Warren Counties.
