Some projects hold a special place in our hearts, and Montclair’s historic Clairidge theater is certainly one of them!

At Mulvey Custom Contracting, our connection to the community goes far beyond the work we do. We’re passionate about giving back, investing in our town, and contributing to the spaces that make Montclair so special.

As Montclair Film celebrates 15 incredible years, we’re proud to have played a role in the theater’s story and to see it continue bringing people together through film, art, and culture.

Congratulations to the entire Montclair Film team on this wonderful milestone! 🎬

The Art of...the Stone Sink. ✨

Crafted in-house by our stone fabricator, these custom stone sinks are more than functional. Each one is a sculptural statement, adding a sense of luxury and craftsmanship to the space.

Working in historic homes often means navigating unique rooflines and original architecture, and finding ways to make them part of the beauty of the finished space.

It takes thoughtful planning, craftsmanship, and our entire team working together to create solutions that feel intentional, seamless, and true to the character of the home.

This space will soon become a beautiful music room, and we can’t wait to show you more as it comes together.

Cozy season called, and this custom marble fireplace answered. 🔥

Beautifully veined stone, a stepped surround, and a bronze-toned firebox make this piece a standout. There’s so much to love in our project, and this is quickly becoming one of our favorite details.

This is definitely one way to make sure the kids do their homework. 📚

Custom millwork gives them each their own workspace, with curved lighting that follows the arch of the built-ins. Another one of our favorite moments from the project.

Remember that custom scaffold our team built in this two-story foyer? This is the result. ✨

Wallpapering a ceiling this high takes patience, precision, and dedication from our craftsmen, and we are so proud of how it turned out.

There’s more to come from our project, and seeing details like this come to life never gets old.
