🍂 Celebrate Local History This Saturday! 🍂

At J.A. Rutter Co., we're proud to be part of the Monroeville community, and we're happy to help our friends at the Monroeville Historical Society spread the word about their Annual Heritage Days Festival.

📍 McGinley and McCully Historical Houses, 2381 McGinley Road

Admission and parking are free. Stroll through the McCully House (c. 1810), Monroeville's oldest log house, where Historical Society President Bruce Walker will answer questions and serve complimentary apple c***r. Then visit the McGinley House (c. 1832), the town's oldest stone house, filled with original family heirlooms, 1800s wedding gowns, and an antique doll collection.

Pioneer artisans will demonstrate yarn spinning, calligraphy, and wooden farm tools, and a pioneer-clad historian will share stories from days gone by.

For the kids, a $2 activities pass includes face painting, spin art, pumpkin painting, and a new duck pond fishing game with prizes. Pony rides ($5), fresh cotton candy ($3), a food truck, and a Yummy Table round out the afternoon.

Don't miss the free private tours with Denise, Director of the Historical Houses. Sign up inside the McGinley House.
