Weekends at the lake should look a lot more like this. 🚤

For this Big Long Lake home, we transformed the waterfront with LandScapes Verana, creating a natural-looking lawn that winds through mature trees, curved landscape beds and stone pathways, all the way to the shoreline.

A custom GolfGreens putting green adds a little fun, while fully recyclable Verana keeps the entire setting polished without taking away from what makes it feel like a lake house.

More time on the water. More time with family and friends. A lot less time thinking about the lawn.

Ready for recess! 💚

Last month, our team completed this 2,340-square-foot Playground Grass installation for Lakeland Christian in Warsaw.

Beneath the turf, we installed Safety Foam Pro, a shock-absorbing layer designed to provide added fall protection around the playground equipment. Together, the system creates a clean, consistent play surface built for busy school days, changing seasons and plenty of activity.

We love how the turf brings this colorful space together—and that Lakeland Christian’s students now have a playground ready for lots of running, climbing and fun!

We absolutely loved how this K9Grass project turned out! The turf fits so naturally into Julie's existing landscaping and gives her a beautiful, functional backyard that's built with her pets in mind.

One of the biggest differences with K9Grass isn't just what you see on the surface, it's the entire system underneath it. Our installation process is specifically designed for dogs, with drainage and odor management in mind.

Recently completed a Playground Grass Ultra install at Riverfront Phase 2B, downtown Fort Wayne. 2,565 sq ft along the city's growing riverfront corridor.

Public installs along the river bring their own challenges. Drainage has to move water off the surface fast, because standing water in a low-lying riverfront site is not something you can design around. Base prep sets the tone for whether an install like this lasts.

Great to see another piece of Fort Wayne's riverfront redevelopment take shape.

🌱 A playground upgrade that’s built to last.

We completed a 7,425 sq. ft. Playground Grass Ultra installation at McNamara Park in Galena, Ohio, replacing years of worn and pockmarked natural grass with a cleaner, more durable play surface.

Because this was a retrofit, the challenge was working around what was already there. The existing play equipment stayed in place, so every cut and seam had to be carefully planned to fit around the structures. We also addressed a few low spots during base prep to help improve drainage and keep the surface performing after heavy rain.

The result? A bright, consistent play surface that drains well, holds its color through Ohio summers, and gives the park a long-term solution without the constant maintenance of natural grass.

Another great transformation for a community playground! 🙌

⛳️ A look back at one of our indoor golf projects in Fort Wayne!

Last November, we completed an 861 sq. ft. indoor putting green at Shambaugh & Sons. Their team wanted more than a decorative green next to the sim bay—they wanted a surface they could actually practice on with employees and clients.

GolfGreens turf gives the space a realistic bentgrass feel, while the layout was carefully planned around the primary hitting zones. Every seam was positioned with ball roll and consistency in mind, helping the green play consistently no matter where you putt from.

Indoor installs come with their own challenges. Interior lighting can highlight every detail, so a lot of the work happens before the first roll of turf ever hits the floor. Careful planning and precise installation make all the difference.

Thanks to the Shambaugh & Sons team for having us out! We hope the green is still getting plenty of use. 🏌️‍♂️

A little green goes a long way. 🌱

We had the opportunity to install 2,205 sq. ft. of LandScapes Select EL throughout the central courtyard at Electric Works in Fort Wayne, creating a clean, inviting green space for employees, tenants, and community visitors.

This space sees plenty of daily action from employees, tenants, and community visitors, so the turf needed to look good and keep up with the traffic. LandScapes Select EL checks both boxes. Its multi-tone blades give the courtyard a natural, grass-like look that looks great from every angle—and under all the different lighting a busy courtyard sees throughout the day.

Another fun project in the books at one of Fort Wayne's most prominent mixed-use developments. 👏

We recently completed 6,660 sq. ft. of Playground Grass Ultra, creating a space that's ready for races to the slide, games of tag that last forever, and countless memories waiting to be made.

This is what kids were meant to play on! A playground should inspire adventure, spark imagination, and be the kind of place kids never want to leave. We have a feeling this one is going to do exactly that.
