This primary suite is giving me serious country cottage vibes, so relaxing and airy! Walls in Alabaster by Sherwin Williams in Duration… always Duration paint for me! Ceilings in Moonmist by Sherwin Williams, but only at 25% strength! What a gorgeous combination!

Beautiful view from the job site this morning! Stepped outside to get some fresh air while I was waiting for my first coat to dry… and was happily surprised when this lovely duo stopped by to say hello.

Staining these beautiful new fence gates a vibrant Tile Red! How long has it been since your fence got an upgrade? If it’s thirsty.. protect it!

Here’s the finished look!

A beautiful accent island in Dried Thyme, with an adorable little accent over the kitchen cabinets as well.. for a little POP of coordinating color! We loved working on this one! For this project we removed the doors and hardware, gave the entire island a nice scuff sand, cleaned well, and then primed with a strong adhesive primer. We lightly sanded, cleaned well again and then applied two coats of finish.. the island and drawer fronts were brushed/rolled and the doors were sprayed.

A common myth is that a brush and roll finish on cabinets isn’t as smooth as a spray application and while that can be true… if that brush and roll application is prepped carefully and applied with the right materials, the finish absolutely lays down like glass! That’s what our end result was here 👀

Island loading!!! Doors need a final spray and installation will take place tomorrow.. stay tuned! Very excited about this project… the back of this island has some beautiful woodwork installed and I’ll post pictures of that tomorrow as well!

While we wait for the final result do me a favor and sound off in the comments..
