What are you doing Wednesday….10AM. Waiting for it to quit raining. Again. Pretty soon we’re going to have to switch the name to Wet Wednesdays!! We did become productive till the second afternoon storm washed us away.
We’re thankful to have landscape maintenance we do for dozens of customers and businesses…. and mulching for customers, as these are the days that we can stay busy doing those jobs. There aren’t many rain days here…. And we all like to stay busy. (Maybe some would say I speak for myself😉)

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Come out to the Monroe Balloon and Bands Festival !! KC’s Landscaping is sponsoring the Livin’ It Up Balloon for the second year!
I’ve been going to this event since I was a kid and They’ve put some work into the activities and entertainment so come on out!

It’s also been so interesting learning more about ballooning — Last years pic, hoping for some cooperative weather this year!

What are you doing Wednesday…. well we haven’t been slacking, (except on the online posts :) ).
The real MVP’s today; still had the full-timers come in with hopes the rain would subside a bit. It didn’t, but they kept on keeping on and did what we do best in the rain-got another property we do maintenance at cleaned up and w**ded.

What are you doing Wednesday….
Another wall base being dug, edging put into another place, and seed and straw mat laid down by crew 3. We had prepped and graded this place earlier in the week - and stopped to have a little lunch in the landscape.

We’re starting a new series/tradition called “What are you doing Wednesday”. We plan to send in photos from all our crews midday and see what everyone is up to! Check out today’s clips-
Dedra working on an outcropping wall.
Tessa digging trench for a wall at a different house.
Bailey, and the mulching crew doing their thing at a few other places.
And my typical Wednesday-looking at jobs.

MULCH
What kind of mulch are you using? We stick with premium, double-ground hardwood mulch. It’s been our go-to for years, keeping w**ds down, locking in moisture and breaking down in the flowerbed to help feed your plants.

⭐️New this year—mulch delivery! Perfect for homeowners ready to tackle their own projects. We have brown, black, and natural.

If fact, if you were using some of that mulch everyone raved about from Ahrens Acres in the past, our natural mulch is the same exact!

Visit kcslandscapes.com to signup on the homepage for delivery. Or contact 608-214-1616 to ask about our services and install.

What did you do with your rainy day?

Over here rain days are for paperwork, organizing, and taking some time to take time.
