What are you doing Wednesday….
Another wall base being dug, edging put into another place, and seed and straw mat laid down by crew 3. We had prepped and graded this place earlier in the week - and stopped to have a little lunch in the landscape.

We’re starting a new series/tradition called “What are you doing Wednesday”. We plan to send in photos from all our crews midday and see what everyone is up to! Check out today’s clips-
Dedra working on an outcropping wall.
Tessa digging trench for a wall at a different house.
Bailey, and the mulching crew doing their thing at a few other places.
And my typical Wednesday-looking at jobs.

MULCH
What kind of mulch are you using? We stick with premium, double-ground hardwood mulch. It’s been our go-to for years, keeping w**ds down, locking in moisture and breaking down in the flowerbed to help feed your plants.

⭐️New this year—mulch delivery! Perfect for homeowners ready to tackle their own projects. We have brown, black, and natural.

If fact, if you were using some of that mulch everyone raved about from Ahrens Acres in the past, our natural mulch is the same exact!

Visit kcslandscapes.com to signup on the homepage for delivery. Or contact 608-214-1616 to ask about our services and install.

70 degrees one Monday… 20 degrees and a blizzard the next Monday. We live here because we enjoy the weather swings, right?

To be in a landscape industry-you gotta enjoy the dice roll on weather in the Midwest. Pivoting almost daily and logistically juggling everything based on weather and equipment- I admit-I love it.

This time of year is for seminars and expos, for learning and re-educating ourselves on the best building practices. Listening to the newest product line from our suppliers and gaining the most knowledge to use on your landscapes.

A couple pics from iLandscape show in Chicago. It’s great to meet with vendors and suppliers in all areas of the landscape world, and to also reach out to new vendors and suppliers where we can bring you awesome new products and variations from across the country.

(Check out the Biolift—a back support exoskeleton. Especially for cutting block and shoveling. There’s almost 40 years experience between the three of us in that picture- I think if we think we’re going to tack on another 50+than we better keep the Biolift on the bucket list of things to invest in!!)
