Remodeling season is right around the corner! If it's been awhile since you updated your kitchen or bathroom, much has changed in the world of cabinets! We have so much to catch up on! Spencer Cabinetry is also looking for a strong, take-charge generalist Business Manager to partner with the owner in managing the company and continuing to grow the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a staff of 2-3 people producing marketing materials, production paperwork, etc. In addition, the Business Manager will be personally involved in daily purchasing, financial and accounting supervision, preparing and submitting necessary governmental and trade organization reports, overseeing daily computer operations, participating in human resource responsibilities, and pinch-hitting for Sales with walk-in customers.

Finally, the Business Manager will also work with Operations and Sales to sequence production and supply related information to the General Manager.

This position supports a 40-hour production work week (9 hours/day Monday through Thursday, then 4 hours on Friday), but may require a little extra time. We offer a complement of typical benefits including 9 paid holidays (with the ability to also earn the week of July 4 and the week of Christmas completely off), Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance, Paid Sick Leave, etc.

DOES SOMEONE YOU KNOW NEED A GREAT JOB?

We are expanding and need to fill several Production positions right now. I believe that this is a great opportunity to start with the best cabinet company in Washington State where productivity and life/work balance are honored.
Some cabinetmaking expertise is nice, but it is not necessary to start with us. We can get your candidate started in one position, and work for mastery of other cabinetmaking skills over time, up to and including eventual Plant Management.
We do require our people to have a strong aptitude for working with their hands and the ability to integrate into a top-notch team.
Some of the things we do differently:
• We pay higher compensation for all positions than virtually all other cabinet manufacturers in the Pacific Northwest. We can afford to because we hire the best people (who build more cabinets in less time at the highest level of quality).
• We have a 40-hour work week: 9 hours/day Monday through Thursday, then 4 hours on Fridays so you can always have a 2½ day weekend.
• If our team gets all cabinets planned for a week built, they go home and still get paid for 40 hours. Over the last year, we have had more than half of all Fridays off with pay!
• We pay out 25% of our net profits every month back to our employees, which has been averaging an additional $8 to $12 per hour, or individual checks in the $1,400 to $2,000 for months with typical productivity.
• We offer a complement of typical benefits including 9 paid holidays (with the ability to also earn the week of July 4 and the week of Christmas completely off), Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance, Paid Sick Leave, etc.

We require reliable transportation and attendance, and all employees must be able to read a tape measure at least to the 1/16th of an inch, lift 50 pounds, and perform basic arithmetic including commonly-used fractions.
