Supporting local, one lunch break at a time! 🍔

The Nehemiah team stopped by the newly opened Friends Monroe Grill today to welcome them to Monroe and enjoy a team lunch!

We love seeing our community continue to grow, and we’re always excited to support the businesses that make Monroe such a great place to call home.

Congratulations on the grand opening, Friends! We’re happy to have you as neighbors! ❤️

Today, we had the privilege of witnessing the procession honoring Captain Tim Tallant as it passed by our office.

For more than 17 years, Captain Tallant served and protected Walton County. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and fellow officers during this difficult time.

Thank you for your dedication to our community. Rest easy, Captain Tallant. 🖤

Floor heating, also called radiant floor heating, is a luxurious home feature and a popular trend in new housing, as well as in renovations that focus on clean, comfortable, design-led living.

It is an easy and energy efficient way to warm your home and to keep your toes cozy.

🛁 When remodeling your bathroom, radiant floor heating is especially worth thinking about.

The comfort and the cost savings of running the system on your heating bills will work out to your advantage in a longer run.

Ready to apply floor heating in your bathroom? 🙋‍♀️

We can’t wait to walk up and have lunch!!

🎉 WE’RE OPENING MONDAY! 🎉

We are excited to announce that Friends in beautiful Downtown Monroe, located at 132 N. Broad Street, is officially geared up to open Monday, October 12th at 11:00 AM!

The final piece of the puzzle was our health inspection… and we got a 100! 😊 So, we’re ready to roll!

Now, we would strongly recommend that you don’t all show up Monday at exactly 11:00 AM… because, well, that could get a little interesting. 😂 But we can promise you this: our very first customer is going to get something special! It won’t be anything quite like Chick-fil-A does, so there’s no need to start camping out on Broad Street Sunday night. 😆🤪

As excited as we are, we also want to be honest with you. Opening a brand-new restaurant means there’s a pretty good chance we’ll make a few more mistakes than we normally do. Our food may take a little longer, your drinks might not arrive quite as quickly, and there may be a few moments of organized chaos. After all, it’s our first day, and everyone is new!

But here’s what we can promise: we’ll have a great attitude, we’ll work hard, and if we make a mistake, we’ll do everything we can to make it right. All we ask in return is for just a little bit of Grace and Patience as we get our feet underneath us.

We are incredibly blessed and thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Downtown Monroe, and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors, feed you some great food, and hopefully make Friends along the way.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and being patient with us as we get this new adventure started.

Cheers, y’all! 🍻🇺🇸

There’s a difference between picking finishes and creating a space that feels like yours. 🤎

Every detail in this kitchen was chosen to work together—from the warm cabinetry and statement stone to the lighting, hardware, and fixtures.

That’s the beauty of building custom.
Your home. Your style. Built around you.

Want to renovate next spring? The time to start planning is earlier than you think. 👀

A major renovation doesn’t start on demo day. There’s budgeting, design, selections, scheduling, permitting, and plenty of decisions that need to happen first.

Comment PLAN or send us a DM with PLAN and let’s talk about what your next steps should look like.

Built for the way you live, work, and grow.

From custom homes and major renovations to commercial spaces, every Nehemiah project starts with a vision and is built with intention.

No two projects look exactly the same—and that’s the point. Whether we’re building from the ground up, reimagining a home that’s been loved for years, or creating a space for a local business, our goal is the same: thoughtful craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a finished space our clients are proud to call theirs.

Another big step happening today over off West Highland Avenue!

Concrete is going down and this project is officially starting to take shape. There’s nothing quite like seeing all the planning turn into real progress.

Stay tuned—we’ve got plenty more to come from this one.

Every great project starts with a plan. 🏡

Long before the final finishes go in, there are plans to review, details to work through, and decisions to make. Taking the time to get those details right from the beginning is what helps turn an idea on paper into a home built with purpose.

Thinking about building or renovating? You don’t have to have every detail figured out before you call us. That’s what we’re here for.

Let’s start with a conversation and build from there.
