➡️➡️➡️Monday we start demo on another water damage caused from a supply line from a washing machine. There had been a pin hole leak for weeks! The laundry room is centrally located in the home causing damage to the laundry room, kitchen, hallway, living and dining areas. We will be removing most of the flooring on the main level, lots of drywall and most of the kitchen caninets including the countertops. After photos to come!

➡️Great start to the New Year for Ready Restoration !

A water heater located in the attic caused extensive damage to this two story home! We went in, removed all affected materials- drywall, baseboards, cabinets, etc. The main level and a large part of the second level is basically down to the studs. We set multiple dehumidifiers and air movers. After about a week this house is now ready for repairs. 👍

A supply line for the ice maker had a hairline crack down inside the concrete slab. Water had been seeping up for sometime slowly affecting the kitchen cabinets and drywall in that area.

We set up containments, removed affected cabinets and drywall and set equipment to start the drying process.

Residing in a home during mold remediation-

You usually DO NOT have to leave your home during a mold remediation. But ultimately it’s really going to come down to the size of the remediation project and the location inside the home.

We set up containment chambers; plastic walls or barriers sealed with duct tape that will isolate the affected areas and prevent any mold spores from moving into previously uncontaminated areas.
