These are Infiltrator Quick4 Plus Low Profile chambers. These are basically the last resort before drip. In NC you need 20” of suitable soil for these to work and plenty of space. SC requires minimum of 22” of suitable soil and more space due to minimum 10’ OC line spacing. Figure on approximately 100 linear feet or about 1,000 square feet per bedroom. (Don’t forget in NC you need space for 100% repair but in SC you are only required to have 50% reserved for repair area.) This shallow installation in NC will require 6” of cover or approximately 12 cubic yards of additional cover dirt per bedroom. Budget a minimum of $30/foot for a gravity system of this type. If in NC make sure they include seeding and strawing or arrange to have it done as soon as installation is completed.
