At TruHome, we’ve always said we’re more than just a business. We’re a family. And a few weeks ago, our team proved just how true that really is.

We want to take a moment to publicly recognize some pretty incredible people — our TruHome team. While you may know them for the work they do, we want you to know a little more about the kind of people they are.

A few weeks ago, our family experienced the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of a very important person. Without being asked, without hesitation, and without expecting a single thing in return, our team showed up for us in ways we will never forget.

From sending a beautiful plant, dropping off meals, taking our son to his haircut appointment, sending sympathy cards and thoughtful comfort gifts, taking over while we were out of the office, and even having a case of our son's favorite drink delivered to our doorstep. They stepped in to help finish a project that our dad was supposed to be there for. They helped cater the funeral luncheon. They took time out of their own lives to attend the visitation and funeral. And through it all, they reminded us that sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest impact. Not one of these things was expected of them, and that's exactly what makes it so special to us.

Over the years, we've worked incredibly hard to build TruHome into a company that puts family first. Not just when it's convenient, not just when business is good...but when life gets hard, messy, and sometimes heartbreaking. It's very easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of running a business when there are jobs to complete, deadlines to meet, customers to take care of, and a million things pulling everyone in different directions, but moments like these have a way of reminding us what actually matters.

At the end of the day, to us the greatest measure of success isn't necessarily how much business we've done but the kind of people we've surrounded ourselves with along the way. And boy, have we surrounded ourselves with some good ones. ❤️

We couldn't be more proud of the people who wear the TruHome name. They're not just talented, hardworking individuals who take pride in what they do. They're compassionate, thoughtful, genuinely GOOD humans. And knowing these are the same people walking into our customers' homes every day makes us even prouder of the company we've built together.

To our team: Thank you for showing up for our family when we needed it most. Thank you for proving that the family-first culture we've worked so hard to create isn't just something we talk about — it's something we live.
