πŸ” Your wall can look bone dry and still be holding water.

The fall rain is back and the first windstorms are rolling in off the Pacific. This is the time of year a small leak hides behind a wall.

That's why one of the first tools out of our truck is a moisture meter. Water doesn't stay where it lands. It wicks into drywall, insulation, and framing, often well past the stain you can see.

The meter shows us how far the water actually went. No guessing. And it tells us when things are truly dry, so nothing gets closed back up while it's still wet inside.

Those readings go into your file too, along with photos and scope notes. Your insurance carrier sees the same numbers we do.

🧴 Bleach makes a room smell clean. That doesn't mean it is.

Most Western Washington homeowners never hear this: bleach is a surface disinfectant. It isn't biohazard cleanup. It can't reach contamination that's soaked into carpet, drywall, or subfloor, and it doesn't remove anything. If the source material is still there, so is the problem.

Two things worth knowing before you reach for the jug:
⚠️ Never mix bleach with ammonia or other cleaners. The fumes can be dangerous.
🧱 Porous materials often have to come out, not get wiped down.

The rain is back and we're all spending more time inside. If something at home needs more than a wipe-down, whether it's hazardous material or a hoarding situation, you don't have to handle it alone. And it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Green State Restoration provides biohazard cleanup across Western Washington, so your home is safe to live in again.

🏒 Same storm. Two very different jobs.

The rain is back, and the first windstorms are rolling in off the Pacific. A leak over a family room and a leak over an office both need to be found and dried. The work on the wall looks a lot alike. The job around it doesn't.

On a home, our job lead works with one family. Everything points at getting that household safe, dry, and back to normal.

On a commercial loss, the project manager has more people counting on them:
πŸ”‘ The property or facility manager who made the call
πŸ‘₯ Tenants, staff, or residents who still need the building
πŸ“‹ Photos, moisture readings, and scope notes for the carrier and ownership

A residential lead is thinking about one family's routine. A commercial PM is planning the work around everyone who still has to walk through those doors.

🌧️ Storm season is here in Western Washington, and our storm damage crews are on standby around the clock.

The rain is back, and the first big windstorms of fall are rolling in off the Pacific. That's when trees come down, roofs take hits, and water finds its way inside. It rarely picks a convenient hour.

So we don't keep one. We board up, tarp the roof, and get the water out and the structure drying, so one rough night doesn't turn into weeks of damage. Then we plan the repairs and coordinate with your carrier, so the paperwork isn't all on you.

🌧️ Storm hits. You make one call. Here's what our crew does in the next 60 minutes.

The rain is back, and the first big windstorms of the season usually follow close behind. So here's what happens after that one call.

πŸ“ž A real person picks up, day or night. We answer 24/7, 365 days a year.
🚚 A crew loads up and heads your way. Our average on-site response is 60 minutes.
πŸ›‘οΈ When they get there, the first job is keeping it from getting worse: emergency board-up, temporary roof tarping, and pulling out standing water.
πŸ“‹ While that's happening, we're documenting it for your claim: photos, moisture readings, scope notes.

You don't have to work out who to call next or what to do about the hole in the roof. You made one call, and we take it from there.

Got storm damage right now, or want to know who you'd call when it happens? πŸ’¬ Call us or send us a message.

πŸ’§ This basement flooded. Now it's dry, and the drying equipment is already coming down.

That's what you want when water gets where it shouldn't: it's handled fast and handled right, and your space is yours again.

The rain is back, and storm season is right behind it. Gutters overflow. A sump pump can't keep up. A pipe gives out at the worst possible moment. Nobody plans for it. You just need someone who picks up.

Save our number now, so you're not searching for it with water on the floor.

πŸ” Mold remediation in Western Washington often starts with a spot that looks too small to worry about.

It looked like a little surface mold on the wall. Easy to wipe and forget. But mold that keeps coming back is usually feeding on moisture you can't see. Once the wall was opened up, it was a real remediation job hiding behind it.

Here's how we handled it the right way:
πŸ’§ Found the moisture source first, so the fix actually lasts
🚧 Contained the area so it couldn't spread through the house
🧰 Removed the affected materials, treated the surfaces, and documented it all for the claim

The fall rain is back, and homes are closing up for the season. If a spot came back after you cleaned it, now is the time to find out what's behind it. The goal is a wall that's actually fixed, and a home that's safe to breathe in all winter.

πŸ“‹ IICRC-certified crews. All insurance accepted.

πŸ”₯ Smoke-stained walls don't have to be your new normal.

After a fire, the smell stays behind. It works its way into walls, ceilings, cabinets and the things you love. Opening the windows won't get it out.

We start by finding the source of the smoke odor. Then we clean, remove, dry and deodorize. That's how you go from smoke-stained walls to a home that smells like yours again.

🏒 Stained ceiling tiles after the first fall rain? That's water already inside your building.

A ceiling tile is the last place a leak shows up, not the first. By the time you see a ring, water has already found its way in through the roof, a backed-up drain, or around a window. It's been soaking whatever sits above the grid. Swapping the tile hides the stain. It doesn't dry what's behind it.

Before the rain settles in for the season, check three things:
πŸ” Look above the stained tile, not just at it. Wet insulation or damp decking means the water has spread.
πŸ“Έ Photograph every stain. Several tiles in a line usually point back to one source.
⏱️ Don't wait for the next storm. Mold can start growing in 24 to 48 hours once materials stay wet.

We find where the water is coming in, dry out the building, and document everything for your claim. Your tenants and staff get back to normal, and you don't spend the winter chasing a leak.
