Had a very interesting call today to a Dollar tree. Got the call from the building maintenance company reporting that four out of nine units were not working. I show up to the store and ask the woman at the register if there's a manager she looks at me and says "No". I advised her that I was there to fix the air conditioner, she promptly picked up the phone and paged "manager to the front please". A few minutes later two large mostly toothless women showed up. Then without me saying anything at all one of them looked right at me and just said "No". I explained again that I was there to fix the air conditioner. The one that said no, babbled on, in some unknown form of English that I did not understand a word of, for about 30 seconds. Then the other woman looks at me and says "Yes, we know the air conditioners broke" slightly confused. I then explained for the third time in less than 2 minutes that I'm there to fix the air conditioner in which she replies "Can't get on the roof ain't got no key". I'm questioning Life choices at this point wondering why I drove to a different county on an emergency service call and also questioning how half of all the units failed before they noticed. I think that last question answers itself 😂
