Our crew had an early morning start to the day to end this first full week of removing storm damaged trees for the City of Monmouth. It’s been a long, busy, hot week.

Wishing all our customers, friends and family a Happy Independence Day!

We appreciate the patience the residential customers who called us last week following the tornado that swept through Monmouth have. It has been a process!
We are still assisting the city with pick up of debris from the boulevards to ensure safe travel and assist with all power restoration and hope to have that portion of the cleanup done in the next day or two. We will then get back to those who have given us a call and have been willing and able to wait for us to get to their work.
Cautionary tale….. there are numerous companies/people who came to town to assist with cleanup, and though it has been helpful, as the jobs are plentiful and more than one or two companies can handle, please check that those you may consider are licensed and insured, and are cleared to cut trees within the city limits. We are seeing and hearing of some that are taking advantage of this storm which is beyond unacceptable on a good day, let alone at a time like this!
Huge shout out to the city guys who have worked relentlessly since Wednesday, to McVey’s Landscaping, Plue’s Tree Service, Scott’s Tree Removal and Shepherd Excavating for the assist and a special shout out to our small in number, but large in dedication, hard working crew!!!!!

A few pics from earlier today. We are still out removing debris from the roads and structures. Be careful driving around. There are still lines down and limbs everywhere!

Our crews are out assisting the city with tree removal from city streets and homeowners most affected by the storm this morning.
While our phone service is spotty, when calls/texts go through, your name is being added to our list and we will get to you as soon as we possibly can. Please be sure to leave your name, address, phone number and let us know if you have trees currently on structures (those will take priority).
The pictures rolling in on Facebook do not truly show the damage done to our little community. Please don’t impede the clean up process by driving around; stay home and stay safe!
